Ms. Kethlyn Choy-Herndon
Therapist

Hi, I'm Kethlyn, and I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Sciences from Penn State, where my interest in human behavior and emotional wellness began. That passion led me to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, where I gained deeper insight into evidence-based approaches to mental health care.

Before stepping into the therapist role, I worked for several years as a crisis case manager supporting children and families through some of their most difficult moments. That experience taught me the importance of meeting clients exactly where they are—with empathy, patience, and a plan.

During my clinical internship at Help, Healing, and Hope Therapeutics, I had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults—conducting intake assessments and utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to support healing, growth, and self-discovery. I’ve been trained to work with individuals across the lifespan and strive to tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, family challenges, or just feeling stuck, I aim to create a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. My goal is to walk alongside you at your pace, offering tools and insights that can help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, cooking, practicing self-care, and embracing the joys (and occasional chaos) of being a mom. These parts of my life keep me grounded and continually remind me of the importance of balance, connection, and compassion—values I carry into my work with clients.
